Quotations

Every item we make is built to order. A quotation is based on the drawing, dimensions, material and finish you give us, so it is valid only for that specification. Tell us if the drawing is approximate and we will quote the nearest workable equivalent, which may change the price.

Your drawings and designs

You keep ownership of anything you send us. You grant us permission to use it only to manufacture and deliver your order. We will not reproduce your design for anyone else.

Changes after an order is placed

Once cutting or fabrication has started, changes to dimensions, material or finish mean a new price and a new lead time, and the original order is cancelled rather than amended. This is why we confirm the drawing before we start.

Material and finish

We work to the grade and finish agreed in the quotation. Where you have approved a physical sample, production matches that sample. Stainless steel and mild steel show natural variation in tone and surface; that is not a defect.

Tolerances

Hand-fabricated steel goods are made to the dimensions on the drawing within normal workshop tolerance. If your application needs a specific tolerance, say so in the enquiry and we will price and plan for it.

Delivery

Delivery time is an estimate given when the order is confirmed, not a guarantee. Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check goods on arrival and report any transit damage before the carrier leaves.

Payment

Terms are stated on the quotation. Custom fabrication normally requires an advance before material is bought, with the balance due before dispatch. Title in the goods stays with us until paid for in full.

Returns

Made-to-order goods cannot be returned unless they are faulty or not as described. Because they are built to your specification, "no longer needed" is not a fault.

Liability

We are responsible for faults in our manufacture, and we will repair or replace them. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, loss of business, or loss arising from goods being used for a purpose they were not quoted for.

Your responsibilities

It is your responsibility to give accurate dimensions and to tell us the intended use, load, temperature and chemical contact. Where a product is used outside the conditions it was quoted for, we cannot be responsible for the outcome.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
